Praia do Camilo
Golden cliffs · Small cove · Clear water
A visual atlas of Portugal's beaches — from golden Algarve coves and calm eastern waters to the wild Atlantic coastline of Costa Vicentina.
Portugal's coastline is a collection of completely different landscapes. Long sandy beaches, hidden coves, dramatic cliffs, surf breaks and quiet islands all exist along the same Atlantic edge.
The Algarve alone stretches for roughly 200 kilometres of beaches, while the west coast offers a much wilder character and long protected stretches of nature.
Not every beach is the same. Choose the atmosphere you're looking for and start exploring.
